TD Summer Reading Club 2026

Pack your imagination, grab your goggles, and get ready to make a splash with the TD Summer Reading Club!

This summer’s theme is “Dive In!” where we’ll be having many fun activities inspired by the ocean and underwater adventures — all with both feet on the ground. This club is for kids born between 2014-2019. The more you read, the more tickets you’ll earn to use in our Prize Catalogue! Read books, collect tickets, and trade them in for awesome rewards during your underwater adventures.

FAMILY H2O EXTREME!

Come enjoy a FREE swim at the Clarence-Rockland YMCA with the TD SRC!
Enjoy pool toys and special aquatic activities. For kids born between 2014-2019 and their accompanying adults. Must be signed up with the TD SRC to participate. Registration is necessary each week.

Every Friday starting July 10, from 5:00pm to 6:00pm, through Friday, August 7.

These on-theme books are worth 25 bonus pages on top of the book’s original page count. No need to add the extra 25 pages yourself, we will do it for you once you fill out the book report! Best of all, they’re all available to borrow from the library. Happy reading!

Week #2 July 13-19

Pokémon Party

On Wednesday, August 5th starting at 2:00pm, the Clarence-Rockland Public Library – Rockland Branch will host a Pokémon Party.

Come join us for an afternoon filled with Pokémon activities! The entire Library will be turned into a variety of stations to keep all ages and Pokémon enthusiasts entertained. You will need to go around and complete a variety of challenges and tasks in your Pokédex for the chance to win awesome prizes. Register here!

ACTIVITIES WITH REGISTRATION

Ocean Slime Creation

Join our Ocean Slime Creation activity and have the chance to keep your slimy creation forever! The event starts at 11am and ends at 12pm on Friday, July 24th at the Rockland branch.

The first 25 kids to sign up will be able to participate. Register here! (FULL)

Cookie Creature Creation

The event starts at 6pm and ends at 7pm on Monday, July 27th at the Bourget branch.

Registration opens on July 15th.

Bath Bomb Creation

The event starts at 11am and ends at 12pm on Friday, July 31st at the Rockland branch.

Registration opens on July 16th.

Library Sleepover

Join us for a sleepover full of adventure on Thursday, August 6th. Drop off at 7pm and pick up the next day, August 7th at 8am, after a breakfast fit for ocean explorers born between 2014 and 2016.

Registration opens on July 22nd.
