With the help of OurOntario (Knowledge Ontario) staff and funding from the Ontario Ministry of TOURISM, CULTURE and SPORT through the Ontario Library Service (OLS), Prescott-Russell public libraries have initiated a project of digitizing old documents (photographs, postcards, texts, etc.) depicting the history, patrimony and culture of the Prescott-Russell region. The first phase of this initiative includes the digitization of photographs from the 19th and early 20th centuries depicting the lives and traditions of the French-speaking population of the region.
