With the help of OurOntario (Knowledge Ontario)  staff and funding from the Ontario Ministry of TOURISM, CULTURE and SPORT through the Southern Ontario Library Service (SOLS), Prescott-Russell public libraries have initiated a project of digitizing old documents (photographs, postcards, texts, etc.) depicting the history, patrimony and culture of the Prescott-Russell region.

The first phase of this initiative includes the digitization of photographs from the 19th and early 20th centuries depicting the lives and traditions of the French speaking population of the region.
