Louise Penny Three Pines Tour

Discover the world that inspired Louise Penny and her wonderful series.

On Friday, September 30th, the CRPL is delighted to offer a visit to Three Pines to discover the charming villages and beautiful landscapes of the Eastern Townships that inspired Louise Penny to write such exciting novels for the world to enjoy.

ITINERARY:

6:45 AM Departure from the Library – Rockland Branch (coach bus)

8:45 AM Meet up with our Three Pines Tour Raconteur enroute.

Chapter 1

Guided visit of the Abbey ‘Saint-Gilbert-Entre-Les-Loups’, Inspiration for ‘A Beautiful Mystery’, boutique visit including a taste of  their award-winning cheeses.

Chapter 2

Visit of St-Thomas Church and Mr. Beliveau’s General Store

Lunch (included in price) overlooking Lake Memphremagog

Chapter 3

Knowlton is the heart of Three Pines. Museum visit.

Bookstore visit where we will partake in a little quiz. Prizes to be won.

3:45 PM Leave Three Pines filled with Louise Penny inspirations.

6:45 PM Arrive back at the Library – Rockland Branch safe and sound.

The cost of the tour is $225. A $100 deposit is required within 14 days of your registration. You can pay directly at either the Rockland (cash or debit) or Bourget (cash only) branches or by e-transfer at biblioinfo@bpcrpl.ca with the password “library”. Please make sure to send the transfer from the same email address you used when registering.
