The provincial government announced today that public libraries are able to open for pickup and drop off as of May 19th. However, the Clarence-Rockland Public Library is not yet ready for this phase. Currently, the supplies we require before going ahead have not arrived due to backlogs. Once we are comfortable with the level of protection for our staff, we will proceed to phase one, which will consist of contactless curbside pickup. A notice will be sent to our community as soon as our clients can borrow library material once again. In the meantime, we continue to work diligently to provide you with virtual programming content on all of our social media platforms as well as e-books through Overdrive and Cantook Station.

We thank you for your patience.
