The Clarence-Rockland Public Library announces that Curbside Pickup of library materials will begin once again on Tuesday, January 5, 2021 at both the Rockland and Bourget branches.
Curbside Pickup of Library Materials
Here is a step-by-step process to reserving library materials during the current provincial lockdown.
Login to your account on the Library’s online catalogue click here to access.
You will need your library card number and must input the letter “P” in front of the number. If you have not already chosen a new password, the default password is “library”.
Choose items and put them on hold. You will need to indicate your branch preference for pickup.
You can also view this video explaining how to reserve library material to your card.
Once your items have been pulled off the shelves and processed, you will receive an email stating that they are ready for pickup.
You do not need an appointment to pick up your holds. You may pick up your items any time during the following hours:
Monday to Friday 1 pm to 5 pm and Saturdays 10 am to 1 pm
Tuesdays 12 pm to 3 pm and Wednesdays 5 pm to 8 pm
When you arrive at the branch, please stay in your car and call the phone number indicated on the curbside sign. An employee will bring your items out to you.
Loans are for 21 days and may be renewed online or by phone. Library material late fines will remain suspended until further notice, however, it is appreciated that you return your loans by the due date to benefit a greater number of users. Please note that lost or damaged material fines are still in effect.
Book return drop boxes continue to be available 24/7 on the outside of both branches. As per COVID-19 protocol, all items will be quarantined for 3-5 days before being removed from your account.
