Help us bring Christmas Cheer to our seniors.
This is the second year that the Library works with the community of Clarence-Rockland to deliver signed Christmas cards to seniors living in residence in our area. Last year was a huge success and many of the seniors we overjoyed to receive good wishes from members of their community. We want to bring the same joy to them this year and we need your help! Stop by the Rockland or Bourget branch to pick up blank Christmas cards, then bring them home to add your good wishes, then bring them back by December 10th and we’ll make sure they get delivered to the senior residences in time for Christmas. We ask that if you write the card in English that you add “Merry Christmas” on the envelope and if you write a card in French, write “Joyeux Noël” on the envelope that way the card will get to a senior in the language of their choice. Please do not seal any of your envelopes. If you have small children, get them involved by asking them to draw inside the card or to add a small drawing to the card. Many seniors last year enjoyed receiving a word search or crossword puzzle in their card as well. Anything that you think they would enjoy would be appreciated. If you have any questions, please contact us at email@example.com or at 613-446-5680 ext. 0.
Thank you for helping us bring the joy of Christmas to seniors in our community!
