Do you write stories as a hobby or want to try your hand at making writing a bigger focus in your life? Do you enjoy the thrill of imagining a new adventure but you’re not sure how to get it down on paper? Then, we have the Club for you!
All Workshops are at the Rockland branch from 6 PM to 7:45 PM. Dates for the Writing Club are as follows:
- January 6 and 20
- February 3 and 24
- March 9 and 23
- April 6 and 20
- May 4 and 25
- June 8 and 22
Please note the Writing Club uses “Masterclass Series” which are used as supportive and inspirational tools to elevate participant’s writing skills. Participants follow guidance from Margaret Atwood, James Patterson, Judy Blume, Neil Gaiman and many more. You will be given access to the series once you have registered and attended a session.
Writing Club sessions are open to everyone and are drop-in. Each month a different theme is explored, writing excercises worked on and members get the chance to receive feedback on their work, if they choose to share it.
